He has also won five times in La Liga, two Copas Del Rey, five Super Copas de Espana, three UEFA Champions League, and two Super Cups, and two Club World Cups. He has also broken many records. His incredible goal streak has him as the best player in the world. Cristiano Ronaldo on the other hand plays with Real Madrid and Portugal, his place of birth. Ronaldo has only won one Ballon de Oro unlike Messi. Ronaldo also has a EuropeanGolden Shoe, but he still isn't as good as Messi.

During World War 2 in Europe was a living hell for playing soccer. In a time there was a battle on Germany and it was a torch because every country were against them. In some point of the World War 2 a Stadium in Russia was bombed by the Nazis. The stadium is located in Saint Peters burg and is called Arena For FC Zenit. Now in days people are finding bombs in the stadium and near. During the World War 2 there was a game of Nazis vs Dynamo of soccer. It was called the "Death Match" between the Russians(Soviet) and Germans (Nazis). After the win of the Soviets 10 of those players were sent to a "Concentration Camp" in Germany. In the "Concentration Camp" 6 of those 10 players escaped the camp in the meanwhile 4 of those died. Playing soccer in the past is like being in war you play, win, or die.

Soccer in WWII

Did you know that Nazi's played soccer too? A game known as 'The Death Match' occurred during WWII and it was a very horrifying game. It all started when Hitler and the Germans were taking over in Eastern Europe. As they got closer and closer to Ukraine, the lives of the Ukrainians and the Ukrainian soccer got worse. The Ukrainians were playing soccer one day in a lot when the Germans offered them to practice in the Zenit Stadium in Kiev. When they were in the stadium, the Nazi's asked them to play a game. During the first half of the game the Ukrainian, Dynamo or Fc Start, had the victory at 1-0. One of the angry German soldiers came into the Ukrainian's dressing room and warned them that if they won, they would be executed. Dynamo wasn't scared at all. They continued the game and won 4-1. The victorious team undefeated streak would begin. They beat several team including a professional Hungarian team, a German Flakelf, and other goods teams too. The Germans were so angry that they decided to create a stronger team, but then they lost 8-0. On August 9th, 1942, there was another rematch. The Ukrainians beat the Nazi's for the last time at a score of 5-3. As a result of the win, some of the Ukrainians where sent into concentration camps, others where tortured, and the rest where executed. Four of the ones sent into concentration camps escaped later. Today a statue stands to honor those four who survived.

On March 22,2013 was a legendary game. The game was at Honduras in the Estadio Olimpico Metropolitano. Both teams has been suffering on the temperature (108F). Its been hard for both teams to score because they both had amazing defense. The score was 2-2 scores from Javier (Chicharito) Hernandez (2 Mexico) ,and Honduras scored by Costly and Bengtson. The game was terrifying for Mexico when they took out Giovani Dos Santos and Chicharito. When they took them out the offense was slacking , no shots , and less attacking. Mexican Goal Keeper Guillermo Ochoa had been doing good paper in France so Mexico decided to call him. Was the penalty that Maza Rodriguez caused really a penalty? The player was already falling. Well the game happened and its hard being a referee. The game of Honduras and Mexico was intense. About 40,000 people went and it was a pretty small stadium.

 Costly is known for the skills he does against Mexico. He just didn't scored he was also named the player of the match against Mexico.

 Javier (Chicharito) Hernandez scored 2 goals against Honduras and wasn't named the player of the match. Two goals aren't  enough?

Honduras vs. Mexico

On March 22,2013 a game was held at San Pedro Sula, Honduras at Estadio Olympico Metropolitano. Honduras played versus Mexico. Mexico hasn't been able to defeat Honduras over 48 years and the streak still continues. The result of this game was 2-2. Javier 'Chicharito' Hernandez scored a header for Mexico at minute 28' followed by another goal 54' that was assisted by Carlos Salcido. Honduras didn't give up yet. Carlos Costly responded with header from a corner kick at minute 77'. As the game went on, the referee later called a penalty shot in favor of Honduras. Jerry Bengtson was the man chosen to take the shot. Guillermo Ochoa had read Bengtson's mind and blocked the shot, but then Bengston got the rebound and scored. The game ended 2-2. Mexico could have one but the referee marked the penalty which was not even a foul. Mexico's streak without beating Honduras still continues.

Jerry Bengtson's penalty was blocked by Ochoa, but he still managed to score the rebound.
